Youth Camp

Camp Us - Youth Camp for Trans and Gender Diverse Youth

The Gender Centre is hosting a youth camp from Tuesday the 2nd October, 20818 to lunch time Friday the 5th October (back in Sydney on Friday afternoon).

There are 36 spaces for the camp which will be held at the Berry Sport and recreation camp site. As part of the registration, participants with their parents' consent will have to register with the Department of sport and recreation via a portal that we will be provided at the time of the allocation of the space with the Gender Centre.

The spaces for the camp are allocated according to the following categories.

Residing in rural and remote area of NSW:

  • 9 beds for 13-15 yr olds, residing in rural and remote area of NSW
  • 9 beds for 15-18 yr olds, residing in rural and remote area of NSW

Residing in Metropolitan Sydney:

  • 9 beds for 13-15 yr olds, residing in metropolitan Sydney
  • 9 beds for 15-18 yr olds, residing in metropolitan Sydney

There is no cost of attendance at the camp, although we ask if you can afford it for a contribution towards the camp.

The spaces for the camp will be made available from 10.30 am on Friday the 31st August, and will be offered on first come basis.

An information pack will be made available to parents about the camp on the day of registration.
