This year the Gender Centre participated in Fair Day with a stall, and Surry Hills Markets with a stall. We took part in the Transgender Day of Remembrance, organised events such as the Great Debate ("Where does the "T" fit in G.L.B.T.") and participated in the organisation of Transgender Pride, held at Stonewall. Staff at the Gender Centre are already organising the big event for next year to be held in February. It will be the 2010 Transgender Film Festival which will be a ten-hour event. Check the website closer to February for a full list of the documentaries that will be shown. All the movies to be screened are either made by transgender film makers or the subject is gender.
