Hello, everyone, it's time again for Polare.

What's been happening at the Centre in the months of January and February?

We had 283 visitors through the Centre, we ran a Self Esteem group, we held a Hepatitis C information night as well as an H.I.V. / AIDS information night, and our youth groups are going strong on Monday nights with Dash. The Gender Centre provided 100 meals to clients. The Gender Centre is conducting two additional outreach shifts in March on Saturday nights in conjunction with the City of Sydney to conduct research on street based sex workers. Could I remind everyone that the Gender Centre, apart from being refuge accommodation, is also a working office and clients need to make appointments with staff in advance of their visits.

Polare is published in Australia by The Gender Centre Inc. which is funded by the Department of Community Services under the S.A.A.P. Program and supported by the N.S.W.
