Okay, so my horse was the slowest, held all the rest up on the trail, and wanted to bite the other horses. I admit that's only the second time I've been horse riding, and I think it'll take a few more times before I know what I'm doing. What a great day it was anyway, and many thanks to South Sydney Council for making the day possible.

Organising is already underway for this year's Gender Centre Ball. The Ball will again be held at the Taxi Club, Flinders Street, Darlinghurst, on Thursday 24 October from 9:00pm. Tickets are just $15.00, which includes entertainment and delicious finger food. Tickets will be available from about the first week in September, and can be sent out once payment has been received, or they can be collected from the Gender Centre.

The Men's Group is continuing and I'd like to thank Leo Turner for giving his time to talk to the group at our Hormone Workshop in July. The group meets again on Sunday 11 August, and Sunday 29 September. The topic for the September meeting will be lower surgery.

The Spring Barbecue is also just around the corner, keep Sunday 22 September free for another fabulous event. Parents and Partners please also keep in mind our afternoons, the next few dates are Sunday 1 September and Sunday 3 November.
